Picking up a deck of Tarot cards and doing a reading for somebody else has become common in recent years. It can often be used as an alternative to psychic readings and it’s certainly an intriguing experience, especially when you get to see the cards interact with other people’s lives. A lot of people approach the Most Accurate Tarot Card Reading without any knowledge or understanding about what they’re doing, but it’s quite simple really once you understand how it works.
About the deck of Tarot cards. As already stated above, there are 78 cards in the standardized deck used for Tarot card readings. Usually, there are two decks of Tarot cards used for reading: the standard Celtic cross layout and a more traditional one with a 22-card major arcana and four minor arcana cards.
The fact that you read specifically for another person means that your sessions will typically follow one of these two formats:
Standard Card Layout: The first is a standard 52-card card reading to arrange the order of events and make predictions. The standard Celtic cross layout is the one most used for this, as it mimics the traditional format of readings. This was originally created by a person called Paul Foster Case in 1936. It relates to the Wicca religion and its Tarot card layout is important for practical magic.
The average reading is between 20 to 30 minutes long and typically focuses on those areas with which you have the most experience. It covers past, present and future experiences and thoughts, from all angles of your life. It’s not just about predictions, it’s about looking at everything that’s going on with you right now and how it will affect your life.
Minor Arcana: In the major arcana cards, there are four cards that divide the deck into four sections called ‘Minor Arcana’. These make up a total of twenty-two cards, which are very important in Tarot card readings. They include the Ace, 2 through to 10.
The minor arcana cards can be used to look at events and past words with a more specific theme such as love, money or even law. These are usually read for you by a professional in a few minutes for about £15.
What happens in a Tarot card reading?
There are two people involved in the process, doing their own separate thing. One person will be the reader (the person who is reading) who’s doing the actual readings to you. The other person will be your guide (the person being read). Both of these people are going to sit on opposite sides of a table and hold Tarot cards in their hands. They’ll then take turns to look at the cards that they hold, one card at a time, and tell you about them, usually in an attempt to guide you through your future.
